Our name says it all. We are located in the heart of Colorado and just minutes from the banks of the South Platte River’s gold medal stretches. Hartsel, Colorado is just a short drive from two of Colorado’s major cities (Denver and Colorado Springs) and located in what we refer to as God’s Country. The South Platte River begins high above the vast ranges of South Park meandering through the heart of Colorado on its way east. On its journey it feeds several major reservoirs two of which are settled only about miles apart. Between Spinney Mountain and Eleven Mile reservoirs is the stretch many refer to as the Dream Stream. Once you experience this stretch you will know why.
